Mueller Testimony Offers No Clear Answers

Former Special Counsel Robert Mueller testifies in two House committee hearings. While Republicans are unable to show partisan bias and other flaws in the investigation, Democrats are also unable to get the "gotcha moment" for Trump's impeachment. Refusing to answer numerous questions and carefully wording his responses to others, Mueller maintains that Trump isn’t being currently charged but is also not exonerated of obstruction charges.

Trump Targets Young Congresswomen in Racially Charged Tweets

In a series of tweets, President Trump tells four minority congresswomen to “go back” to the "crime infested places from which they came.” The tweet sparks fierce backlash from both sides of the aisle, with many calling the president’s comments “racist.” Just one of the targeted lawmakers was born in another country. Days later the House votes to condemn Trump's comments. Speaker Nancy Pelosi is initially called "out of order" for calling Trump's comments "racist." The House, along party lines, votes to not strike her words from the record
