Walmart Will Stop Selling Certain Kinds of Ammunition
The Primary: Walmart announced they will soon no longer sell certain types of ammo and will tell customers they can't visibly carry firearms in store.
Who? What? Why?: The decision by the nation's largest retailer comes in the wake of the El Paso shooting, when a man killed 22 outside a Walmart in El Paso, Texas.
The Baseline: Walmart has about 2 percent of the firearm market and 20 percent of total ammunition business in the U.S., as CNBC notes. The company said they predict this move will decrease their ammunition market share by 6-9 percent.
